Each itemdesigned to be truly unique, made from. the best materials. They will last a lifetime.
The Oculus wing bag Real vintage prosthetic eye all the way from India combined with AA crack and CFS leathers for antique pieces each one telling a story of their own. The glass diamonds on the rear brooch has had its colours changed as I wanted some colours to reflect the eye on the front. There is no small pocket on the inside however have included a key clasp with a hood that protects anything in the bag from coming into contact with your keys. A beautifully unique buckle finishes this bag off this is probably one of my favourite builds so far the eye is realistic and the whole creation looks like it tells a magical story what's even nicer is I didn't use the laser cutter at all, Which shows just how confident I'm getting in my skills. Size wise it is 25 cm by 17 cm by 6.5 cm all solid brass hardware as well and of course my lifetime repair guarantee, even if it is mauled by a dog I will still repair it for free
The Blakemore magical carrying device. Every now and again I like to make something a bit weird. I'm lucky enough that this is not my main source of income so I don't have to worry about restricting shapes and having popularity as a design choice. if they sell they sell. This is the third iteration of what I call the rose hip shape, something I designed a while ago but only perfected now. This bag was the hardest bag I've ever had to make purely because the tight corners combined with extremely thick leather made it a real chore on the old fingers, worth every second of pain. There is an understated mandala on the front with a nice dark English countryside scene behind the maple leaf, a nice Edwardian half of a buckle on the front of the flap, and on top there is a Czech glass brooch. On the back is a handmade ceramic country scene I wanted it to look like the window is looking out at the same scene as the front mandala. This brooch was the basis for the whole bag. I'm a clumsy man and accidentally broke the brooch, this sort of thing never bothers me so it was glued and used. I love it when the brooches and buttons I use have wear and tear as it shows they have had a life and this one has had a life with a clumsy idiot called Matthew. Size wise well that's an interesting question 8 cm 29 cm 20 cm and all those in between it's certainly an interesting shape. Hardware wise it's all brass with an antique buckle on the strap which is fully adjustable This is a truly special bag.
Winters keep small every day wingbag The change in seasons whether I want to admit it or not always has an influence on my work. coming out of summer always brings in the darker more gothic inspired builds and this one is the start of the winter creative period Are you so am I favourite vintage adornments on this bag the front sporting and extremely old hand-painted enamel button Which is pre 1900 One part of a vintage nurses enamel buckle On the back we have a ceramic vintage brooch on the top real silver brooch and on the sides real mother of pearl this is one special build Internally there is also a key safe which will keep your keys handy and protect your phone from scratches 23.5 cm by 18 cm by 7.5 cm
Carrying on my fantasy inspired series this is probably the most complex creation I've ever made I'm not sure whether I'm going to keep this for my self as my new work bag or put it on the website as really I do need to buy another however this is the perfect way to showcase my skills and would also make an awesome work bag. Even though I probably won't be able to do any work due to everyone asking about the bloody bag: D Complex skull mandala with accompanying ceramic skulls inlaid into the panels, three real vintage prosthetic eyes, vintage cameo Victorian enamel buttons military pips and two antique brooches A collection of world class leathers solid stainless steel hardware and of course if I do sell the lifetime repair guarantee. I've created a lot of light energy work recently so I wanted to delve into some dark fantasy, I built to look like it was the goblin kings soul keeper with the prosthetic eyes mirroring the souls trapped in the bag The huge amount of work is going to this probably more than I've ever before and worth every second
I don't usually name my more affordable bags however this is so cool it had to have a name. I wanted it to look like it came out of a medieval fantasy horror novel or movie, I could see this hanging off and the various Dark Prince or hoggle from the Labyrinth. My goal in the next few years is to find a way to make the eye move so started thinking of ideas now. I justice as a gig bag big enough for most phones including case and has a small pocket at the back for a key. All solid brass hardware a real vintage prosthetic eye and the best leather in the world.
