The Blakemore magical carrying device. Every now and again I like to make something a bit weird. I'm lucky enough that this is not my main source of income so I don't have to worry about restricting shapes and having popularity as a design choice. if they sell they sell. This is the third iteration of what I call the rose hip shape, something I designed a while ago but only perfected now. This bag was the hardest bag I've ever had to make purely because the tight corners combined with extremely thick leather made it a real chore on the old fingers, worth every second of pain. There is an understated mandala on the front with a nice dark English countryside scene behind the maple leaf, a nice Edwardian half of a buckle on the front of the flap, and on top there is a Czech glass brooch. On the back is a handmade ceramic country scene I wanted it to look like the window is looking out at the same scene as the front mandala. This brooch was the basis for the whole bag. I'm a clumsy man and accidentally broke the brooch, this sort of thing never bothers me so it was glued and used. I love it when the brooches and buttons I use have wear and tear as it shows they have had a life and this one has had a life with a clumsy idiot called Matthew. Size wise well that's an interesting question 8 cm 29 cm 20 cm and all those in between it's certainly an interesting shape. Hardware wise it's all brass with an antique buckle on the strap which is fully adjustable This is a truly special bag.
